Crowdfunding

Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising money from a large number of people who each contribute a relatively small amount, typically via the Internet. This helps a business to grow and start up their products.

Sometimes the people who have raised the finance will just do it to support the new developing brand or product. However, in most  cases, those people would receive benefits for example: Getting a percentage of the business profits, getting merchandise from the business or getting their names in the credits of whatever the business has achieved due to their help.
